Two star crossed lovers met in 5th Avenue, New York.
The year was 1928. It was a period of youth and exuberance as Americans returning from the first world war celebrated their freedom amidst growing fears of a second world war and economic crisis which culminated with the 1929 stock market crash. Millions of young men were later sent to Europe to fight with the Allies against the Nazis in WW2, leaving behind waiting young brides. A story of romance and tragedy.
